Cell Counts per Square (up to 5)

Assumes each count is for a large 1 mm x 1 mm corner square (volume 0.1 mm³ = 10⁻⁴ mL) of a standard Neubauer-type chamber with a 0.1 mm depth. The dilution factor is the total dilution of the counted sample (for example 2 for a 1:1 mix with trypan blue). For reliable counts count at least about 100 cells in total (counts under 10 per square, or over 100, are unreliable). Research use only.

No. Hemocytometer Count gives you a general estimate based on the inputs you provide, not a diagnosis. Existing conditions, medications, and individual history all change what a number actually means for you. Treat this as a starting point for a conversation with a doctor or other qualified health professional, not a substitute for one.
